Description
Vintage Vostok manual wind wristwatch, USSR production, late 1960s to early 1970s. Stainless steel case with simple dress profile. Original dial shows heavy aging with cracked lacquer surface, giving a pronounced “tropical” effect. Applied hour markers and printed minute track. Small seconds configuration. Movement is Vostok cal. 2409 family (shock-protected variant), 17 jewels, manual wind, 18,000 bph. Basic Soviet construction with large ratchet wheel, simple train bridge, and regulator with +/- index. Shock system uses a three-prong spring cap jewel (non-Incabloc Soviet design). Movement serviced, running within acceptable parameters. Crown wind, no complications beyond time and sub-seconds. Acrylic crystal. Overall construction is utilitarian, with emphasis on robustness rather than finishing. Typical of mid-tier Soviet export-era production.
